Pokémon GO fanatics were surely overjoyed last November 8 when news that 100 new Pokémon were going to be released, including Ditto.

According to Pokémon GO experts from The Silph Road, it won't be long before we see these 100 new creatures roaming our streets just waiting to be caught. In fact, certain Pokémons that are already available in the game, such as Eevee, can soon evolve into a second generation Pokémon.

With that said, you might want to catch as much unevolved monsters as possible and stockpile their candies so you can transform them into rare second-gens.

Here's a list we put together of the new Pokémons that you should hoard starting now:

Slowpoke to Slowking

This funny and forgetful guy will likely be able to evolve into Slowbro or Slowking in Pokémon GO's gen.2. Both evolutions will likely cost you 50 candies so better start stocking on Slowpokes.

Eevee to Espeon and Umbreon

As of the moment, Eevee can evolve into Vaporeon, Flareon, and Jolteon but in the second generation, it will also be capable of evolving into Espeon and Umbreon, which are both worth 25 candies each.

Pokémon GO players are also aware that you can change Eevee's name depending on what monster you want it to evolve into. The same trick will also work in gen.2. So if you want Eevee to evolve into Espeon, just name it Sakura or Sayo and Gary Oakif you want to see it become an Umbreon.

Poliwhirl to Politoed

You might already have a lot of Poliwag candies by now so you should just keep those for a while longer. In the next generation of Pokémon GO, Poliwhirl will be able to evolve into Poliwrath or Politoed for 100 candies.

Seadra to Kingdra

If you want to get rid of all the Dragonites you see in gyms, then save up at least 100 candies to evolve Seadra to Kingdra.

Chansey to Blissey

These creatures are rare so it might be a bit hard for you to spot or even catch. But just in case you do have 100 candies to spare, you can evolve Chansey into Blissey.

Golbat to Crobat

You can forget the annoyance of wasting Pokeballs just by catching Zubats if you think of it this way: you can evolve Golbat into Crobat for 100 candies. Since Zubats are a bit abundant, better start being patient in catching them.

Porygon to Porygon2

Porygons are so rare that not a lot of Pokémon GO players have it. Mind you, Porygon2 will be a collector's item in the game's second gen so just keep your candies for a while. There's no news as to how much candies you might need for the evolution.

Scyther to Scizor

Stock up on those Scyther candies because you'll be needing at least 100 of them to evolve this monster into a Scizor.

Onix to Steelix

If you're not satisfied with your Onix, then wait for it's second gen evolution, Steelix. It's way stronger and scarier. Good news is, you only need 50 candies to evolve it.
