Sony has just unveiled a slew of new products here in the Philippines, including the SLT-A37 interchangeable lens camera which definitely caught our attention. Why so? Well, aside from being a newcomer in the Japanese company's Alpha line, this device looks and feels like a full-fledged DSLR.
Don't let its appearance fool you though; the SLT-A37 is actually quite light, well at least lighter than many DSLRs aspiring and professional photogs lug around. It sports and uses Sony’s Translucent Mirror Technology which makes it easier to use, too, while capturing high-quality images you'd certainly want to show off to your peers. More on the inside, the SLT-A37 packs an APS-C type Exmor HD CMOS and has a max resolution of 16.1 megapixels. Full HD video is part of the mix as well as other nifty features including the continuous shooting mode at 7fps.
Planning to take this baby for a spin? You'll have to shell out P33,999 for one. Expensive for most of our kababayans, we know, but it has the hardware that might justify its cost along with, of course, its DSLR-like appeal which should bring pogi points to your shooting escapades.
