Last month, Nokia confirmed that they will foray back into the mobile industry during the Capital Markets Day 2016 event. Weeks after their announcement, rumors started circulating one by one, starting with leaked photos of one of their 2017 flagship phones.
Now, another set of leaked files have surfaced onto the Internet to give us all a clue about what Nokia has in store for us next year. This time, however, the leaked images are not actual photos but sketches of not just one, but two phones named Nokia D1 and Nokia E1.
The photos first appeared on tech website Nokia Power User, where the designs of the two handsets were placed side-by-side for comparison.
The Nokia D1, pictured above, has curvier edges and an oval home button to make way for a fingerprint scanner function. However, the back part of the D1 hasn't been revealed yet, due to plans of revising the camera's design.
In contrast, the Nokia E1 has noticeably sharper edges and a circular home button. The LED flash for this model is located directly beside the front camera, while the D1 has its LED flash located beside the front Nokia logo.
Apart from the design, there were no other details mentioned in the leak. As of now, we're all just hoping to see these handsets by next year.
