The annual Consumer Electronics Show (CES) held in Las Vegas kicked the year off with a bunch of bizarre devices, nostalgic throwback gadgets, and other futuristic products that will surely get the attention of regular customers and tech buffs alike.

With over 3,000 of the top tech companies showcasing their products, there’s surely something that will pique your interest in the world’s largest event for consumer technologies. Here are some of the best CES 2018 offerings that impressed us so far.

Robot pole dancers

At the very start of CES 2018, the Sapphire Gentleman's Club in Las Vegas pulled off a stunt involving their performers. But these weren’t your average strippers; they’re robot pole dancers wearing high heels and all. It’s a good thing these gyrating bots had CCTV cameras for a head, and the wiring was exposed or things would become weird real quick.

Project Linda

Razer is back with their crazy concepts that’s sure to make heads turn. This year, the gaming peripherals company showed off Project Linda, a prototype that basically turns your smartphone into a fully functioning laptop.

Ultra Game Boy

Nintendo was taking too long to do a remake of the celebrated retro portable so peripherals manufacturer Hyperkin went ahead and made their own version of the iconic ‘90s handheld which they call the Ultra Game Boy.

The future of TV

It’s probably safe to say that television was the big winner of CES 2018 and by big, we mean massive screens that could take up spaces the size of your whole wall. The best surprises came in the form of two concepts from Samsung and LG. Check these out:

Back in 1999, Sony introduced the first Aibo, an adorable robotic pet dog that was equipped with artificial intelligence. Nearly two decades after, the popular product makes a comeback with updated features and a more expensive price tag.

XPS 13

Dell keeps their laptop game strong with a revamped version of the popular XPS 13 series. The 2018 model is thinner, lighter, and boasts the latest 8th generation processors from Intel.
