Capcom just released another batch of screenshots to go with a fresh trailer of the Resident Evil 2 Remake and we think it just looks too good to possibly mess up at all. Here's the recent clip from Tokyo Game Show:
Improved gameplay aside, we think one of the remake's main strengths would be the plot—or the better presentation of the plot to be precise. Now that Claire, Leon, Sherry, and company aren't burdened with blurry pixelated faces, the interactions in the game feel so much more cinematic.
Even though we are very familiar with these damn dogs, we feel like we're going to be panic shooting when we run into them in game.
The character redesigns have been pretty faithful so far—but Ada Wong in a trenchcoat and indoor shades would disappoint fans of her lady-in-red appearance. We can't help but feeling she's wearing something killer underneath though.
Resident Evil 2 is already a lock for our first game in 2019—it releases January 25!
