Our favorite nostalgia-inducing mobile phone from nearly two decades ago is literally making a comeback in the country after HMD Global confirmed that the new Nokia 3310 handset is hitting Philippine shores during the second quarter of the year.
According to GMA News Online, the throwback device of sorts will be available for purchase in local shops by June 2017.
Releasing with it are other smartphones including the Nokia 3, Nokia 5, and Nokia 6.
The new 3310 was unveiled during the 2017 Mobile World Congress in Barcelona last February, where it easily stole the show from other edgier smartphone products.
It will be first made available in the European market with a price point of $63 (roughly P3,100).
The new 3310 remains true to the original model but also comes with notable improvements like a colored screen, a 2 Megapixel camera, and 2G Internet.
