Lenovo Mobile may be a newcomer in the Android scene but that doesn't mean it's going to be shy in terms of battling it out in the field. Fact is, the company has just introduced the A65, its second offering that comes slapped with Google's pet mobile OS.

One look and you'll notice that the A65 looks identical to its predecessor, the A60, and it boasts a very similar specs list, too. It comes with a 3.5-inch capacitive touchscreen, wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and an 800MHz CPU. For those who like the convenience of having 2 SIM cards in one handset, the A65 also has dual-SIM, dual-standby capability. All that with Android Gingerbread running the show.

But perhaps the best thing about it is that it's cheaper than the A60, by about P2,500. The A65 will go for P5,499 and comes bundled with a free Smart Bro SIM with P100 load that's good for 30 days. We know, it doesn't pack impressive specs but, at that price point, it could be a steal which is good news for those wanting to jump into the Android bandwagon without having to spend a ton of moolah.
