You could say that Google has been a walking contradiction of sorts. They've ventured out into other markets this year but at the same time streamlined their programs and products to compliment the one thing that Google has been famous for: organizing the world's information through Search.

We usually hear about the Big G's latest endeavors through their blog, with the exception of the news about Google X, their secret laboratory. (It's a secret, no duh.) For everything else though, Google's Blogspot account has been a reliable source of information about the world's best search engine. In true Google form, they've done their yearly assessment and selected ten entries that garnered the most hits.
