Nintendo is introducing a cool new add-on to their popular Switch system, which in all honesty looks like the perfect marriage between the do-it-yourself concept of Lego and the Nintendo Switch’s gaming features.

Called the Nintendo Labo, this product gives Switch owners a new way to enjoy their hybrid portable console with more interactive gaming experiences.

For starters, the Labo comes in different kits that mainly include a Nintendo Switch cartridge plus a bunch of premium cardboard sheets and building accessories that serve as its framework. With these materials, you can build what Nintendo likes to call Toy-Con creations based on the instructions in the game cart.

You can then create various day-to-day items from musical instruments, to fishing poles, and even a motorbike that all let you play theme games when paired with the Nintendo Switch. Aside from this, you can also give your Toy-Con creations a unique look by coloring the cardboard sheets.

The Nintendo Labo will be available starting April 20 in the Variety and Robot kit options priced at $70 and $80, respectively.
