The past few years have been an exciting time for gamers with the industry launching a ton of new titles and the occasional hardware plus innovative platforms like the Nintendo Switch.
Among the games that have left a lasting impression was Dark Souls which launched six years ago and had sequels in 2014 and 2016. For the uninitiated, Dark Souls is infamously known for its extremely challenging levels paired with its rage-inducing boss fights that can prove too difficult to hurdle even for the most hardcore gamers.
Another title that’s been recently the talk of the town is Cuphead which debuted in September this year. The game gets top marks for its fun and nostalgic retro platformer gameplay that features a visual style reminiscent of 1930s cartoons. But don’t get fooled by its adorable character and stage designs. Cuphead actually gets hard pretty quick once you progress through the stages.
Now imagine if you could play these two exciting titles in an epic crossover game. An animation group called 64 bits apparently played with the idea of bringing together the world of Dark Souls with Cuphead’s gameplay and art style through a parody video.
It’s not actually a game, but it’s the closest we can get to a crossover between the two titles. Hopefully, this gets picked up by Cuphead as a DLC.
