It looks like the Samsung Galaxy S III will be another best-seller like its predecessors as we've just gotten word that the flagship device has received 9 million pre-orders from over 100 carriers worldwide. Wow! Now that should translate to a ton of moolah for the Korean titan.
This is certainly good news for the company, especially in terms of keeping the Android crown. In case you didn't know, 40% of all smartphones running on Google's mobile platform was made by Samsung. Actually, we're not surprised by the amount of attention the quad-core Galaxy S III has been getting since, as we've said, its older siblings also sold like hot cakes. Good luck then to Samsung's factory in South Korea which is reportedly already running on full capacity or about 5 million units per month.
