A live cam site has awakened the sense of smell in virtual reality (VR) with the platform becoming the next frontier for consumer entertainment and everything else that matters when using your eyes.

CamSoda recently unveiled its new product, the 'OhRoma,' which is basically an add-on that allows you to smell various scents and odors while engaged in VR, TechCrunch reports.

According to CamSoda President Daron Lundeen, they wanted to improve the overall experience of using VR which currently only utilizes the senses of sight and sound.

“Virtual reality figures to play a pivotal role in 2017 and we wanted to enhance the experience for our fans by introducing OhRoma which now allows users to smell what they are seeing and hearing,” he said.

“It’s unlike anything anyone has ever experienced before, delivering a heightened sensation of pure unadulterated ecstasy, allowing them to completely immerse themselves in the experience, and we’re excited for our fans to try it out,” he added.

A closer look shows that the OhRoma is essentially a gas mask, and it acts like one, except for the fact that it allows you to choke on your preferred smell whether it’s perfume, panties, or privates.

Pricing for preorders of the OhRoma are pegged at $69.99 while its refillable cartridges go up to $9.99 per pop.
