If you’re looking for the nearest place to celebrate your anniversary, your birthday, or even just an ordinary day, then this place in Laguna may just be what you're looking for.

Casa San Pablo, a bed and breakfast haven in San Pablo, Laguna, is the perfect spot for those who want to take a break from their hectic schedule. A cozy place that has rooms for day tours and staycations— ideal for your much-needed quality time with babe.

 Casa San Pablo

“We’ve created a cozy place for you to relish simple joys and rekindle a hometown feel for beauty in ordinary things,” owners Boots and An Alcantara shares in their website. “Let us comfort you with delicious food the way our lola used to serve them. And let’s swap stories like old friends.”

True to the couple’s description, Casa San Pablo really is the place to be whenever you crave some downtime—away, yet, not too far from the city. Its old-school homey charm, lush greens, modern kubos, and delicious menu, will remind you of those times when life was simpler. Imagine, just you, the girlfriend (or the wife), and this wonderful view.

Relax and enjoy without breaking the bank. Couple rooms are priced for only P1,500, per person, per day. You can choose from six romantic rooms, each with its own special charm. Below are some of our favorites:

Room 1

 Casa San Pablo

Room 1 is located on the first floor of the main casa. It has its own private deck with a view of pocket gardens. An oil painting called “Hanging by the Moment” by E.J. Cabangon sets the mood for this little nook.

Room 3

 Casa San Pablo

The cozy room opens to a covered deck with an intimate sitting area for those late night conversations or early morning chats over coffee. The deck overlooks a bamboo garden. This room is named after the collection of bottles and paper mache’ horses called taka.

Room 9

 Casa San Pablo

This room is ideal for a couple looking for some, ehem, private time. An abstract oil painting by Reb Belleza puts a compelling accent to the room, while an oil painting on burlap by Ricky Ambangan hangs on the adjacent wall. The room opens to a private porch.

Now, if ever you’re planning to propose or if you’re looking for a wedding venue, Casa San Pablo also prides itself on being the “Best Wedding Venue in Laguna.” Just look at these Instagram snaps for sample:
