One foreigner who adores the Philippines with such affection is renowned writer Rafe Bartholomew, author of The Pacific Rims, a book about the wonders of basketball on Philippine streets.

The people included on this list have shown their love for our country in more ways than words. Know who they are and what they did to promote the Philippines.
