1. Black appeals for humility! Even with the win already in the can, Ateneo coach Norman Black called a timeout late in the game. What's pep talk about? Ego-check! The champion mentor said: "No yabang. Be humble. We know we're winning, but you don't have to show it."
2. Public enemy No. 1! There's just no love from the bluer side of the gallery, at least as far as La Salle hotshot Joshua Webb is concerned. As the Green Archers' top gun, he's the resident player to hate. Posters that said "No Kicking" were waved at the stands. The boos thundered from there, too, every time his name was announced. The indefatigable grandson of former PBA player and senator Freddie Webb just responded with that Cheshire grin of his, and, at one point, gave the Ateneo gallery a mocking salute!
3. Blockbuster Sunday! Just five days after Lady Gaga packed Araneta Coliseum to the rafters, another sellout crowd of 17,524 trooped to the Big Dome for the second Ateneo-La Salle faceoff. And that's not counting those people who reportedly bribed some venue staff just to sneak in.
