FHM Nation, let's all pay our respects to James "The Ultimate Warrior" Hellwig, who passed away last Wednesday, April 9 (Manila time). He was 54.
The pro wrestling legend, who became a household name in the early '90s for his outrageous outfits and charismatic in-ring persona, died just hours after he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame at WrestleMania XXX. He also gave an impassioned speech on WWE Raw earlier this week. The cause of his death has yet to be determined as of press time, but reports suggest that alcohol and drugs are not to blame.
"WWE is shocked and deeply saddened to learn about the passing of one of the most iconic WWE superstars ever, The Ultimate Warrior," the company stated on its website. "He is survived by his wife Dana, his two daughters, his mother, his two sisters, and his two brothers. WWE sends its sincere condolences to Warrior's family, friends, and fans."
