Celebrating the Master Rapper’s birthday on October 4, the guys from FMCC (Francis M. Clothing Co.) successfully pulled off the week-long exhibit Filipinize the Whole World last week. It closed with a massive party last Friday, October 8 at The Collective in Makati.

When everything iconic about the Master Rapper is pooled in one place, a wide array of cultural groups will most naturally go and see it unfold. At the Collective, it felt like learning about Rizal in a museum. Francis M is unanimously universal.

The event highlights a special feature exhibit of Francis M’s greatest possessions, from his cosmic collection of toys and comic books to his countless works of hand-written rhymes and art.

It was capped off with a tribute concert at the B-Side bar with the likes of Gloc 9, MC Dash, and Pin-Ups performing to relive the spirit of their musical kababata.

The gallery below shows the highlights of Friday’s closing party, an unambiguous reason why Filipinize the Whole World is called as it is.
