We’ve all been guilty of being bullies at one point in our lives–most probably during the days of naïve youth. And if you’ve ever pointed a finger at the chubby girl and snickered at her heftiness, then shame on you! Because, you know, that’s just wrong, man.
For all you know, one day that same lady would grow up, shed the unwanted poundage, and blossom into a scintillating scorcher that mesmerizes the masses both on television and magazine covers. It happens. Trust us. There’s even an E-heads song about it.
Such is the case with our August 2014 Cover Girl, Beauty Gonzalez.
The PBB alum gained a reputation for being the sweet, plump, tisay probinsyana after making it to the reality show’s Big Four. But that was six years ago, when she was but an innocent teenager raring to make it into show business.
Flash-forward to the 2014 FHM 100 Sexiest Victory Party, where Beauty wowed the audiences both male and female alike with her ultra-fit bod and undeniable sex appeal. And now, she’s on our cover and transformed into the #fitspiration for your wives, girlfriends, and our unbridled fantasies. She worked hard to get where she’s at and is more than deserving of the recognition.
“When you guys approached me for a cover, it renewed my confidence in myself,” Beauty tells us. “I believe now that I am sexy. Maganda pala ako! Ha ha! I’m glad that my family and my boyfriend are supportive so I know that this is the right time.”
Inspired by the bipolar weather, team FHM decided to shoot Beauty in two polar opposite concepts: sweetly seductive and tantalizingly dominating. The Moon of Desire star was game for both, channeling her sweet Bisaya roots for the former and willing to be oiled-up in the edgier layouts for the latter.
Her candidness and knack for humor was a pleasant mood enhancer as she chatted up the crew and gave us an insight on what it was like to perform silly sex scenes for the supernatural teleserye she stars in with fellow FHM faves Ellen Adarna and Meg Imperial. Yes, you can imagine that now. That potent mix of girl-next-door and indubitable hot tart (plus she’s entertainingly hilarious in person) works so well at alluring men-folk, and Beauty, as you can see for yourselves, is the perfect specimen. As the Bisayas would say: “Lami, bai!”
