Vice President Jejomar Binay dropped by the University of the Philippines Los Baños yesterday, September 15, for the "Forum on Governance, Transparency and Social Transformation."

However, the question-and-answer portion of the event meant to be a vehicle for people to reacquaint with the former Makati mayor ended up as a cringe-inducing gisahan session for the second most powerful government official in the land.

Boy, the veep seemed not prepared for the barrage of iskos going berserk with their hard-hitting queries and responses.

Just one of the Q&A's best hits:

(cheers from the audience)
(cheers from the audience)
B: Siguro 'yung 3% pwede mo na sigurong (i-consider na) wala, 'di ba?

We imagine our elementary peers hollering "Um, barado!" at the surprised public official.

Another student expressed his dismay on Binay eschewing the "current administration," pointing out that he is, in fact, part of it. The young lad also grilled the VP about his non-participation on other facets of the government.

Attendees were reasonably frustrated. Netizens, however, chose not to add on to the public's disappointment, and instead, just played around with Binay's mind-numbing retort.

Good or bad move for the VP? They say any publicity is good publicity, though this probably isn't the case when you're speaking in front of a highly educated gallery.
