Looks like Claudine Barretto can't wait for Thursday to post throwback photos.
The former Mula Sa Puso star shared two handwritten notes from her late ex-boyfriend Rico Yan on Instagram again. Earlier, Claudine posted a handwritten love letter from Rico together with their Polaroid picture. It quickly went viral.
The new love-notes have been making the social media rounds, too.
In the first letter, Rico apologized to Claudine for cancelling a prescheduled meet-up because a certain Miguel needs some time with him.
In the second letter, dated July 18, 1999, the matinee idol thanked his "bombshell girlfriend" for a great time.
For clarity, here's a transcription of the second letter:
Hi, there! I went ahead na. I wanted to wake up to say goodbye to you personally, but I guess, the wine was a bit too strong for you. So instead, I wrote you this note.
Thank you for the wonderful dinner—I had such a great time!! And you were right (again!)—the movie was nice. I sincerely hope that we could do this more often.
Enjoy your sleep—I know you're tired and you need to rest. So just call when you wake up, ok? And I'll see you tonight. Again, thank you so much for last night, my bombshell girlfriend. I enjoyed every minute of it!!! I LOVE YOU!!!!
The duo starred in the hit television series Mula Sa Puso in 1997, Saan Ka Man Naroroon in 1999, and in the movie Got 2 Believe in 2002. In an unexpected turn of events, Rico died due to hemorrhagic pancreatitis in March 2002 while vacationing in Palawan.
