Ink and needles were put under the spotlight last weekend as the country's biggest tattoo convention, Dutdutan, celebrated its 15th year.

Held from September 25 to 26, the World Trade Center were packed to the rafters as thousands of tattoo enthusiasts and body art fanatics flocked to the venue to enjoy a weekend of music, booze, and of course, the chance to meet and greet this year's special guest, FHM June 2015 cover girl and Japanese AV star Maria Ozawa!

Scroll down and check out the highlights of the two-day ink-tastic event!

THE HOSTS

Pambansang Bayaw Jun Sabayton and Lourd De Veyra hosted the show. They were also joined on-stage by FHM girl China Roces.

THE TATTOO COMPETITION

Tattoo artists showed off their meanest looking tattoos as they vied for the best tattoo of the year. Here are some nasty looking pieces from the back tattoo category:

THE ACTIVITIES

Unlike the previous events, Dutdutan XV offered a lot of activities aside from the live bands and annual bikini contest (which we'll discuss a little later). This year, they set up a skate ramp, in which skateboarding attendees can test their ollies and grinds.

Graffiti artists also got to show their skills in the newly introduced "Deck Graffiti Competition."

Another Dutdutan custom, the live drum battle, continued its banging tradition.

Of course, on-the-spot tattoo booths were all over the convention, serving fresh ink 'round the clock.

Hopefully, this guy's girlfriend won't be breaking up with him anytime soon.

And when there are booths, pretty booth girls will always be present!

THE BANDS

Miggy Chavez and the rest of Chicosci opened the Dutdutan concert.

Mr. Bones and the Boneyard Circus followed suit and kept the adrenaline high.

Here's Pinoy rock legend Pepe Smith showing that he can still "rock 'n' roll!"

Here's an awesome throwback: The Wuds, ladies and gents!

This year's international guest, metal band Ill Niño rocked the stage hard when their number was called.

THE WOMEN

This year's bikini contest seemed to have been inspired by the recently held AsiaPop comicon. This year wasn't simply a battle of (bikini) strings, as contestants were required to take the ramp in sexy cosplay attires.

Here's Mimi Casil showing her red cape and red bottom:

Yes, that's #NewCrush Hazel Cha in an awe-inspiring Pyslocke costume.

Hey, Wonder Woman, where's your magical lasso?

Here's the sexiest league of heroes ever assembled!

MARIA!

We all know Maria's no flaker. Here's the Japanese AV icon making dreams come true for Dutdutan fans!
