You know what they say about Mondays: It's not the best day for painting soul-warming images of green pastures dotted by mooing cows.

But as your Pambansang Bro Ng Bayan, it is our obligation to turn that sour mood around. How? By beginning the week with your regular dose of news worthy of fist-pumps! It's time for another round of FHM's Best Of The Weekend!

1)   LIPAD, KOBE, LIPAD: Kobe Paras Is Indeed The Great Brown (Na Medyo Tisoy) Hope

The 6'7" Son Of Benjie moved to America to pursue higher studies in basketball last year. Along with his recent commitment to the U.S. NCAA Division 1 squad, the UCLA Bruins, he has been serving a satisfying array of highlights—enough for hoops site, Ball Is Life, to put together a mixtape that had us going "OMFG, NBA potential?!"

See for yourself:

2)   BACK TO SCHOOL: Who Wants To Be Marc Pingris' Classmate?

While Kobe Paras took his talents to UCLA, Gilas Pilinas' main alaskador beacon of hustle, Marc Pingris, is going back to the Philippine School of Business Administration—a college he left behind in 2001 to turn pro in the defunct MBA. He won't be taking his hoops talents there though. Instead he'll be racking his brains for three years of management classes in order to earn his degree.

Everybody now: "Sir Marc, hindi ka lang pala pogi at magaling mag-basketbol. Masipag ka rin mag-aral!"

3)   NERDGASMIC MOMENT: Blizzard Teases Us With
StarCraft II: Legacy Of The Void Trailer At Blizzcon 2014

Blizzard fans and space game nerds, push aside Mass Effect and Civilization: Beyond Earth for a while, and lend Blizzard your ears (and eyes) as they unveil the trailer for the next StarCraft II game, Legacy Of The Void.

A standalone title, the last in the SC 2 trilogy follows 2010's Wings Of Liberty, and 2013's Heart Of The Swarm, with this one putting the narrative spotlight on the psionic Protoss faction.

Here's the trailer:

The trailer was unveiled at Blizzard's annual Blizzcon event in the U.S., along with trailers for new playable units for the human Terran and the bug-like Zerg factions.
