ISANG TULOG na lang, FHM BroCon na!

Excuse our giddiness, but that's just how excited we are for the first-ever staging of the manliest event ever conceived on Philippine soil.

We're not just overreacting, mind you; the FHM BroCon has all the makings of being the biggest celebration of manhood this side of town has ever seen. Babes, booze, damn good music, men's hobbies (in the form of activity booths), more babes—what more could you ask for?

To make the most out of your precious time in this one-of-a-kind (and dare we say) historic event, we've taken the liberty to list a few pointers for your utmost guidance—and because we love spoiling you!

1)   BRING YOUR BOATLOAD OF
FHM MEMORABILIA

The Sexiest Woman in the Land will not only fill the halls of SMX, but would also eagerly welcome autograph requests. That standee of (insert name of favorite FHM babe here) you've been preserving since high school? What about your complete Ladies' Confessions collection? Now's your chance to have all of it immortalized.

2)   DON'T FORGET THAT EXTRA SHIRT

The thing about the BroCon is that it's also a concert in convention's clothing. Only the best of the best OPM acts have been invited to rev up the crowd, with you given the liberty to pick the songs you want SandwichChicosciSponge Cola and Ebe Dancel to play!

Bottomline is, with all the slam-bang sweating, you'd definitely want to change your top in between sets...

3)   POWER UP

With the event essentially a haven for photo-ops—aside from the fact that the venue is basically packed with babes all day—it is top priority to have all your gadgets charged up. Don't mind those uncomfortably bulky power banks, you'll need them for your Kodak moment with the New Queen, Jennylyn Mercado, or the other FHM Cover Girls included in the meet-and-greet segments.

4)   STAY SOBER

Even with gates opening as early as 10 a.m., drinks will be available right away, thanks to our friends from Tanduay. But how would you enjoy all the ensuing festivities if you've already had one too many by lunch time? Just ask our friend Baron.

5)   READY THE BALLER IN YOU

Basketball isn't the most popular sport in the country for nothing. FHM BroCon lets you meet your favorite Blackwater Elite players (such as Reil Cervantes, JP Erram, Gilbert Bulawan, etc.); shoot some hoops at Toby Sports' arcade basketball booth; and check out some of the freshest kicks from Shoegame Manila. Plus points if you're in your lucky jersey-and-shoe combo.

6)   GEEK OUT

We know we ain't the San Diego Comic-Con or even the New York Comic-Con. Nevertheless, we have a lot in store for our geek brothers—an assortment of collectibles from Great Toys Online, or you can have your paperbacks signed by local comic book artists Manix Abrera (of Kikomachine Komix and News Hardcore fame), and Noel Pascual and AJ Bernardo, the brains behind Crime-Fighting Call Center Agents. Comic book nerds rule!

7)   STASH SOME EXTRA DOUGH FOR BOOKS

Expand your Summit Media library through our super book sale, which will feature past FHM specials, gravure books, and other Summit paperbacks—only for P50 to P100 each!

Resident columnist Stanley Chi, along with FHM regular Lhea Bernardino, will also be present to sign copies of Stanley's new book "One Night Stan: Why Nice Guys Finish Last (And How You Can Finish First)."

8)   BRING YOUR BROS WITH YOU!

What's the point of calling it a BroCon if you're planning to go there alone? And besides, a measly P150 wouldn't hurt, right? Especially in exchange for all the awesomeness we've mentioned above!

NOTE: Online selling via SM Tickets is now closed. However, we'll be selling tickets at the event venue, SMX Convention Center inside the SM Mall of Asia compound in Pasay City.
