Sirs and madams, we would like to enlighten y'all with a little digital breakthrough called text reflow—a new feature for digital magazines that will make reading on mobile devices simpler, more seamless, and more straightforward.
And the good news is that text reflow has now made its way to FHM Philippine's digital counterparts, starting with our January 2013 issue. The text reflow format is available for iPad, iPhone, and Android devices.
Allow us to elaborate: Text reflow is the ability of text to adjust to the space allotted by a device’s screen. This feature is activated when a user zooms in or out on his touchscreen device by pinching. As the screen expands, text expands; as it narrows, text moves down. Ka-ching!
Text reflow also makes reading on small devices easier on the eyes since it reformats text to fit in whatever screen space you adjust to on your device, minimizing the occurrence of unsightly areas of white space in the process. It also helps the user avoid having to pan from left to right to read an entire document, which can be a hassle for those who simply want a no-fuss reading experience.
