Because we like to come up with excuses to celebrate (and drink beer), and because we like to pay tribute to the things that help us become prime specimens of the macho sex, ladies and gents, welcome to the first-ever edition of the FHM Man Awards!
For the next few days you will be treated to a series of articles covering different aspects of guy life—that means no sissy stuff or anything that comes in pink (sorry, ladies). Think of the things that made you go high-five somebody. Think the best cars, shoes, sporting gear, clothes, accessories, even alcohol. If it was created for man and is really awesome, then it deserves an FHM Man Award!
On the following pages you'll be greeted by FHM's pick of the Best in Fashion; a list of products that completed your #OOTDs, made you look and feel pogi, and led countless mirons to exclaim, "Uy, saan mo nabili damit mo?" Scroll down to start this mother! (Or you can click here for more of the FHM Man Awards!)
The "My Fanbase is Forever" Award: No Fear's Standard Hoodie and Faded Jeans
Some days we really, really want to dress down a notch and settle for a hassle-free get-up, which we found in the form of No Fear's standard black hoodie (P1,299.75) and brown faded jeans (P1,499.75). People say looking fashionable without really trying is a challenge, but dressing down with no effort is no simple deed either. No Fear's collection is our solution to the latter.
The Maong Is The New Black Award: Diesel's Denim Shirt and Darron Denim Pants
Diesel's latest menswear collection modifies the camouflage look, creating a collection with a rock 'n' roll attitude. Black and gray are the institutional colors of the brand and are highlighted by bold winter colors such as grey and petrol blue. If you're one of those "Nothing makes me feel more macho than a chambray" persons, you're not going to find a more precise collection anywhere else.

The Humi-Hip-hop Na Hipster Award: Adidas Originals Tongue Label Tee and Camo Firebird Track Top
Adidas apparel has done a fantastic job of veering towards street and hipster fashion. The Adidas Tongue Label Tee's (P1,795) graphic is inspired by iconic woven tongue labels with a splash of seasonal camo print. The Adidas Camo Firebird Track Top (P3,395), on the other hand, is styled in desert camouflage and features a left chest Trefoil, side zip pockets, a full front zip, and a stand-up collar. Nothing screams out hipstah like this camo get-up.

The Go-To Shirt of the Year Award: Petrol's Standard Blue Tee
Remember when F4 frontman Jerry Yan appeared on a billboard in a white "Love Ko Bench" t-shirt, and how everyone went bonkers when said shirt finally went on sale? Seems to us the standard blue Petrol shirt is filling that role today. Look everywhere, son, the rugged-looking fellas are all wearing this tee!

The Only Statement Shirt That Doesn't Suck Award: Nike Statement Shirts from Zalora
We all used to say that the slogan makers behind Nike will make good motivational speakers and campaign speech writers someday, if not presidents, because every word printed on their tees become gospel. These new line of Nike statement shirts from Zalora (LeBron No Heart No Chance and KD DC Crest Tree, P1,595 each) just solidifies our claim.
