During Day Two of the International Premiere Tennis League yesterday, November 30, Ana Ivanovic (Macromax Indian Aces) laid the smackdown on Maria Sharapova (Manila Mavericks) en route to a 6-3 victory. The Philippines lost the match, sure, but after seeing two of our dream girls duke it out in the same court, can you really call it a defeat? We don't see anyone complaining.

Joseph Russell Ingco, the Maserati driver who allegedly mauled a traffic enforcer for taking a video of him, claims that he was attacked first. "Hinawi ko po yung video. Noong nahawi ko na po, hinampas niya po ang mukha ko," he reveals to ANC News. "Pagkahampas niya sa mukha ko, hawak-hawak niya ang braso ko. Yung isa kong kamay, nasa manibela lang. Wala akong pwersa kasi nasa loob ako ng sasakyan." Ingco supposedly had no choice but to fight back and drive off. Hmmm...the jury's still out on this one.

7)   WAIT A MINUTE: That traffic enforcer may not be as innocent as we all think

Jorbe Adriatico, the traffic constable who was punched by Ingco last week, may not be as harmless as he sounds. In a letter read on air by DZMM anchor Ted Failon, a female motorist accused Adriatico of punching her car and shouting hurtful words at her back in February 2013. You know what else? Before the Maserati incident, another female motorist filed a similar complaint against him last month. Patay tayo diyan!

Most of Manny's neighbors allegedly want him gone for a reason: They're not comfortable with him accepting visitors who aren't, uhm, sosyal. "I may be as rich as some of them here, but my lifestyle remains the same and so is my heart," he tells Balitanghali. "I'm just a simple man. I will never change that. Nakakahiya naman sa mga kapitbahay ko na may mga bisita akong naka-tsinelas langBaka nakakaistorbo akosiyempre sikat na sikat na subdivision yun."
