Take a turn towards the foreign and the uncommon as The Japan Foundation, Manila and the Ayala Museum present English Rakugo! Japanese Sit-Down Comedy in English. Rakugo, is described as “a comic monologue in which a storyteller creates an imaginary drama through episodic narration while sitting atop a small mattress on the stage.” Sounds quite unusual right? We hope that piqued your curiosity enough for you to check out this cool performance art event on September 25 at the Ayala Museum in Makati City.
