We can't believe the amount of lovin' the NBA has given us this year, and we hope that this streak never, ever ends, because we sure could get used to this. Isang regular season game naman diyan!

The NBA Global Games-Philippines, which took place at the SM Mall of Asia Arena earlier today, October 10, featured a pre-season game between the Houston Rockets and the Indiana Pacers that was full of head-to-head matchups, intense moments, and ball game revelations (Houston came out on top, 116-96). Read on and find out why the Rockets-Pacers game ended up being super sulit, despite! (You can also click here to view our full highlights gallery!)

...Because we were one of the first ones to witness Danny Granger back in action after sitting out all but five games of last season due to patellar tendinosis. And mind you, the former NBA All-Star still got the moves, finishing with nine points and four rebounds coming off the bench.

...Because a string of NBA legends were also present during the game, namely Clyde Drexler, Robert Horry, Ron Harper, and Jalen Rose. We love these guys and all, but they all better fire their stylists right away! We mean, come on now.

...Because we were also the first ones to see Dwight Howard play as a Rocket, though he was visibly keeping it light and easy during the game (he even sat the entire fourth quarter). And from where we were sitting, it seems to us big Roy Hibbert was overpowering him in the post. Howard finished the game with a pedestrian-for-a-Superman stat line: nine points, three rebounds, and five fouls.

...Because Hibbert showed glimpses of his former All-Star self in this game with his six-point, eight-rebound, four-block performance. Hibbert has declared that he will be one of the top three centers in the NBA this season, and after winning the position game with Howard, we reckon he's keen on keeping his word.

...Because Linsanity was in the house, plain and simple. Forget any negative write-ups you've read about Jeremy Lin in the recent months—he was outstanding tonight, finishing with 14 points, six rebounds, and five assists to grab the Player of the Game honors. Did you see his coast-to-coast drive in the second quarter? That sh*t should be in SportsCenter!
