Where did you get your exotic looks from?
I’m Iranian and a quarter Russian. I was born in Iran to Iranian parents but my grandfather is Russian.
What brings you to our shores?
I’m here to study pharmacy—it’s easier here than in my country and cheaper, too. Though I already studied and finished design and music courses back in my country. Sometimes I do modeling. Aside from that I like to work out, and my hobby is playing violin and…nothing else, ha ha!
How did you end up becoming a model?
This is not my first time to model; in my country, I’m a model for makeup and for clothes. I even modeled for M•A•C [a makeup brand] in Dubai, but it’s my first time to do a sexy shoot. It’s fun and I enjoyed it. I thought I would be shy, but I actually felt comfortable.
So we guess you’ll be modeling for a while?
Maybe, if I can find good work here. I love the Philippines. It’s better than Dubai and Malaysia. I went on vacation and saw Boracay, Cebu, everything. But I know it might be a bit hard to find work. But I like it, the acting for the camera. Actually I’ve been in two movies back home. I wore a scarf though, so you’ll laugh at me, ha ha! Maybe after I learn Filipino and good English, I can act here too.
How about after you finish studying?
I want to go to Canada. My sister lives there.
What do you think of Filipino boys?
They’re good. I’m single now, but my ex-boyfriend was half-Filipino.
Who do you stay with by the way?
I live alone. My friend lived in my place for a while because she lost a lot of money in the casino. She’s crazy. I actually worked in a casino before. It’s hard work and you need to stand for six hours. I was a dealer for blackjack and baccarat–I’m good at cards.
