Today In WTF News: Girls Wearing Plastic Bags

Taiwanese girls are allegedly taking recycling to a whole new level.

An odd new fashion trend in Taiwan is bringing new meaning to the phrase, "Reduce, reuse, recycle."

According to Shanghaiist.com, among other blogs, Taiwanese girls wearing nothing but a plastic bag are a thing now, with photos of the said phenomenon having surfaced on the Internet. We've posted the images below. The same website said that the images started in the Facebook group called "●【爆料公社】●", before spilling out to the greater web. We've tried joining the said group to confirm if the photos did come from there, but our request to join is pending as of writing.

Website Worldofbuzz.com reports that "Over the past weeks, hundreds or even thousands of young individuals have been uploading pictures of themselves online." So far though, the only photos of the girls we've seen are these, and not the "hundreds or even thousands" that the blogs have reported.
