Look at our cover for the September issue and tell us, really, what’s not to like?
Cover pa lang, ulam na
The gorgeous Lovi Poe finally debuts on FHM Philippines. She is the cover girl for the September issue, which is, incidentally, a double issue as FHM brings you the annual FHM Collections on the other side.
The sneakiest of FHM friends probably know that Lovi’s shoot took place all the way in Bangkok, Thailand. Allow us to correct that misinformation. Yes team FHM flew with Lovi, and the awesome team composed of Mark Nicdao, Pam Quinones, Robbie Pinera, and John Valle to Bangkok. But the shoot actually took place at Ayutthaya, Thailand, a province an hours’ drive away from Bangkok.
There wasn’t a lucky dog but there was a lucky elephant, with whom Lovi became pretty intimate with. Imagine: it sat Lovi on his lap, it carried her on its ivory tusks; it didn’t mind shitting and peeing in front of Lovi. A trivia bit: Tongkam, the luckiest elephant in the world, actually appeared in the movie Ongbak 2.
And that’s just the cover, kids. Along with Lovi is an army of pretty femmes who populate our pages: returning babe Sarah Robertson, Reese of Eye Candies, Jen Pajaron.
Wait are you still here? Or have you gone out to the nearest newsstand to get the issue? If you’re still here, let’s carry on: You’ll drown with the number of articles both informative and entertaining that the September issue holds. In time with the 20th year of Nirvana’s Nevermind, we look back on “90 things about the 90s” that make us want to go back to the decade when grunge was cool, shoulder pads were not, and His Airness ruled. FHM also found 5 of the most highly developed Pinoys; read about The Strongest Pinoy (Hidilyn Diaz) and The Smartest (Ramon Lorenzo and Johann Abrina) among others in the “Evoution” article.
If you’re still here, galing ng EQ niyo a. Sige, ito pa: The September issue is a double issue with the annual FHM Collection on the flipside of Lovi’s cover. Derek Ramsay headlines the line-up that consists of surfer dude Luke Landrigan, Azkal Aly Borromeo, URCC Founder Alvin Aguilar, PBA greats Atoy Co and Allan Caidic, current PBA hero James Yap, and Bowling champ Paeng Nep.
