Earlier today, netizens were alarmed after a magnitude 3.2 earthquake was felt in parts of Batangas, Cavite, and Laguna.
According to the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs), the quake was recorded at 9:18 a.m. and originated West of Malvar town in Batangas.
Phivolcs later clarified that the earthquake actually originated in Los Baños, Laguna while also upgrading it to a magnitude 4.5 quake.
Other surrounding areas that felt the quake include Alaminos in Laguna and Tagaytay City. A lot of areas in Batangas such as Cuenca, Lipa, Santo Tomas, San Rafael and Tanauan City also recorded various earthquake intensities.
Meanwhile, some netizens who felt the quake took to social media to relay their experiences.
