You know what, politics and national interests aside, yesterday's Million People March to Luneta was actually kind of awesome. We've never seen so many strangers being kind towards each other (or being hateful together, as ex-Chief Justice Renato Corona could attest to); so many organizations rallying for a common cause; so many differing key demographics hanging out in one place. It was a lot like People Power, but more fun and less heavy. We especially like the part where...
...The part where we were kind of worried at first that no one would bother to show up on, until more than a hundred thousand showed up. Can you believe this thing was instigated by a simple Facebook post?
...The part where this tiny kartolina pretty much sums up what the Million People March was trying to address.
...The part where we spotted Gloria Diaz, also known as "she who would make a darn good lady president (and she brilliantly played one in Ang Tanging Ina N'yong Lahat) based on presence alone."
...The part where you tell these senior citizens joining the march may take a toll on their knees, and the part where they tell you to bite them because your argument is invalid.
...The part where somehow, someway, whichever part of the world you may be, you're always bound to find a dude who dresses like Guy Fawkes in every rally.
NEXT: Cute pigs everywhere!
