Presidential Communications Office Assistant Secretary Mocha Uson came out to clarify reports that she hired editors to manage her popular blog with a massive following of over 5 million people.
According to Uson, there was no truth to this. She also thinks Communications Secretary Martin Andanar might have been misquoted on the issue.
Andanar was earlier quoted by major media outlets saying that Uson now has editors to handle her blog. This was after the staunch Duterte supporter was criticized over the symbolism issue, where she used of a photo of Honduras police praying to depict Filipino soldiers.
Despite having no editors to help her manage her blog, Uson said that there was no need for this since she doesn’t cuss out during her online posts anymore. “Hindi na po ako nagmumura,” Uson told GMA News.
Last March, Uson went on an online tirade against Vice President Leni Robredo, where she accused her of being a “fake VP” and a proponent of fake news. She went so far as to hurl expletives at Robredo on live radio, while also calling her names.
She also bashed Senator Leila De Lima on her radio program before she was incarcerated last February for her alleged involvement in the illegal drug trade.
Senator Antonio Trillanes IV, who is known to be a vocal Duterte critic, was also on the receiving end of Uson’s sharp commentary after she slammed him over the troll issue, saying that he was the biggest troll out there.
When she was a guest on Gandang Gabi Vice, Uson took a swipe at both Trillanes and De Lima, who she called “bugok” and “saba.”
