You probably know the harsh truth already, but just in case: Manila has the worst city traffic in the whole wide world!
That doesn't mean though that kilometers-long snakes of metal and rubber are exclusive to the Philippines. Other countries have it bad, too, you know.
Case in point, this monster traffic jam in Beijing, China:
WAIT, ARE WE SURE THAT'S NOT ONE BIG-ASS PARKING LOT OR A CAR COMPANY'S PRODUCTION LINE?
Kidding aside, according to reports, the traffic jam happened just when truckloads of people were returning from vacation. Apparently, a new checkpoint on the other side of the toll gates created the bottleneck resulting to a massive gridlock reminiscent of that time we tried to untangle our earphones.
Also noteworthy: the sheer size of the road. That's at least 40 lanes wide (we counted)!
To those who were stuck in that hell hole, we feel you.
