The crime of the century is making headlines once again thanks to the court’s latest ruling on the murder case. [firstpara] Datu Unsay Mayor Andal Ampatuan Jr., the primary suspect in the Maguindanao massacre killings last year, pleaded not guilty to multiple accounts of murder last January 5.
The long search for justice is far from over however, as more counts of murder will be charged to Andal Ampatuan Jr. when the remaining 57 death certificates are processed and filed by the NBI.
The best thing to do right now is to hope and pray for fairness and integrity, whatever the court’s decision will be in the near future.

The O.J. Simpson Trial
Labeled widely as the “Trial of the Century,” former football star O.J. Simpson was charged with the murder of his ex-wife Nicole Brown Simpson and Ronald Goldman back in 1994.
Thousands of reporters garnered as O.J. turned himself in four days after the victims were found. Reports of suicide attempts and low-speed chases surfaced way before criminal trial even started.
After a lengthy trial that lasted for nine months, the verdict came. Simpson was acquitted, thanks to the lack of DNA evidence and other trial exhibits.
