In news that make us regret the mindless shenanigans we did when we were young, a Pinoy teen has recently created a life-size working model of the BB-8 droid.

In case you're clueless on what it is, it's the spherical robot popularized by Star Wars: The Force Awakens whose theme song seems to be Chamillionaire's "Ridin'."

Meet 17-year-old Angelo Casimiro:

Angelo here recently uploaded a video which serves as a step-by-step guide on how to create your own life-size BB-8 droid. He mainly used materials you can find in homes or purchase at the nearest hardware shop (e.g. glue, empty deodorant bottles)—something that makes the feat even more impressive.

Watch the 20-minute clip below.

He may have used household items but you still need stuff like batteries, circuit boards, and magnets which means it's better if you know a bit of science and robotics, too. But hey, Google is your friend and, together with this nifty instruction guide, who's stopping you from creating your own rolling bot?

This isn't Angelo's first foray into the DIY field. He actually has a YouTube page called TechBuilder which has videos of his previous science projects like transforming a shoebox into an alarm clock. He also calls himself the "Filipino Tinkerer" which, given his skills and accomplishments at a very young age, is well-deserved.

The future certainly is bright for this wonder kid.
