Remember when we told y'all how people are gonna wanna talk about what went down during the elections in the coming days? Barely 24 hours later and netizens are already talking about how Senator Miriam Santiago will take care of business and open a can of whoop ass on those who are undeserving of a Senate seat. Richard Gordon's nickname on the other hand is now trending (#ipasoksiDick!).

Meanwhile, we can't help but talk about some of the prettiest hopefuls of this year's campaign season, most of whom are in line to assume office soon.

So yeah, it looks like we'll be seeing more of them starting today, and we couldn't be more stoked about it.

Scroll down below to see Mayen Juico, Dhes Arevalo, and the rest of them young, gorgeous leaders!

(All figures are based on COMELEC's partial count as of May 14, 8:32 p.m.)

Pretty Politics

MAYEN JUICO
Political Party: Liberal Party
Running for: Councilor of Quezon City's 3rd District
Will we see more of her? With 56,239 votes garnered and with P-Noy himself personally endorsing this cute up-and-comer, Mayen Juico will be pioneering plenty of pretty politicians lists in the coming years, starting with this one.

Pretty Politics

CHAREE PINEDA
Political Party: LAKAS
Running for: Councilor of Valenzuela City's 2nd District
Will we see more of her? Fortunately for Charee, her numbers were able to make the cut, landing inside the Magic Six. Fortunately for us, she's also an outstanding actress with a promising career as a Kapamilya. We will be seeing a lot more of her.

Pretty Politics

RISA HONTIVEROS
Political Party:
Akbayan (Citizen's Action Party)
Running for: Senator
Will we see more of her? We're not gonna lie to y'all, it's not looking good for our pashmina-whipping senatorial bet, ranking 17th among 33 candidates. This is the second time Hontiveros has failed to land a senate seat. Perhaps she's better off serving in the local government?

NEXT: The Ejercitos might reign over San Juan forever
