With just a month and a day to go before what could be the most epic music festival to happen in the country, the 7107 International Music Festival, things are most definitely heating up.

Today, January 21, at a press conference held at Aracama in The Fort, several announcements were made that's going to make the month-long wait even more unbearable.

First off, the final, final lineup has finally been announced. In the roster of the two-day festival are 12 international acts, and a whopping 43 local musicians. Any which way you cut it, we're going to get more than an earful of wonderful sounds in this party.

Joining the massive roster are the two newest big-names performing for the festival: hip-hop upstart and Grammy-nominated artist Kendrick Lamar, and club legend, Kaskade.

Kendrick Lamar is a 26-year-old rapper from California who has three records under his belt: Overly Dedicated, Section.80, and the critically lauded Good Kid, M.A.A.D. City. Here's a sample of his awesomeness:


Kaskade, on the other hand, is a favorite amongst the Big Fish crowd for his electric house tunes. Here's a taste of the kind of performance he puts up in festivals:


A concern in every festival where there are dozens of artists is the amount of time they'll actually play on stage. The press-con also addressed this, confirming that the headliners will be playing for a longer time than most of the acts. Exactly how long? Go to the next page for the answer!
