When someone mentions fast bikes, we immediately think of supercharged racing motorcycles like this one:

Obviously, it shouldn't be anything like this:

Well, that's until cyclist/mad mechanic Francois Gissy decided to power up his stripped down bike by attaching a rocket on it. Yup, he's got a rocket-powered bicycle!

Here's a look at this mechanical bad-ass:

Grissy tested his rocket-powered bicycle at France's Circuit Paul Ricard a couple of days ago, and it only took him five seconds to accelerate from zero to 207 miles per hour. His top speed was more than enough to crush the previous land speed world record (which he himself made back in May 2013) of 263 kilometers per hour.
