Looks like we kind of missed out on a lot of things last week.
It has just come to our knowledge that many-time FHM cover girl Rufa Mae Quinto, together with Michael V and the rest of Bubble Gang’s higher ups, were summoned by the Movie and Television Review and Classification Board (MTRCB) last December 9 over a skit involving the BG character Susie Lualhati.
In the said sketch, Michael V was teaching Susie how to make the bestest puto bumbong in town. And the rest, well, you can watch it below:
Looks like the bit went too far, prompting the MTRCB to go all KJ to call the show's attention.
"It appears that the segment stereotypically portrayed a woman as objects of rather frivolous, albeit carnal, delight. When women are treated as commodities, they are disrespected and degraded,” MTRCB posted on its official Twitter page. Both parties have since met and have aired their sentiments about the matter.
But the real enigma here is Susie Lualhati. Who is she? And what has she done wrong? Join us as we take a closer look at the misadventures of Susie! In GIFS!
THE BEGINNING: THE NEXT BIGGEST STAR
Susie first appeared as one of the contestants in Bubble Gang's "Next Biggest Star."
She did an amazing job of wowing the judges with her very out-of-tune out-of-this world performance.
Yup, feel na feel! She performed the entire song using only a single chord. Impressive, right?
The judges noticed Susie's huge potential and were left in awe of her very jiggly performance. Obviously, Susie won the contest.
