If you haven't noticed, more and more people are tying their shoelaces and starting to run. Whether they're in it to get fit, relieve stress, or finally join that elusive marathon they've been promising themselves, the running bug is on.
"More and more Filipinos have discovered that running is an easy way to feel better, look better, and live better," says Toby Claudio, one of the founders of popular sportshop Toby's. And because they want people to enjoy this "most universal of sports," they've come up with Runnr, the first concept story for running in the country.
Apart from carrying an impressive line-up of running gear, Runny boasts of three state-of-the-art technologies: Footprint Scanning, High-speed Video Gait Analysis, and Custom Insole Molding.
A thermodynamic scanning system allows their highly-trained staff to view a customer's footprint, get direct measurement of foot and determine his foot type.
Runnr is equipped with a treadmill that determines how he runs, thereby allowing the store to determine which type of shoe fits the customer.
Ever dreamt of having a shoe built--and named--specially after you? Well, Runnr can get your insoles molded and customized. You can worry about how you'll name your first customized pair as you wait, too.
Runnr is now open at B3 of Bonifacio High Street. Please visit www.runner.com.ph for more details.
