Only hours away from the much-awaited "Sa Tamang Panahon" AlDub grand fans day-charity event, we still can't believe that this fateful moment is finally about to happen.

Having followed Eat Bulaga's kalyeserye from the outset, and witnessing the ire of the old Lola Nidora, we honestly didn't think that this event would even come—and this soon at that. And with the unparalleled level of anticipation, we've expected this to be no less than the most monumental affair in EB history.

In light of this, we recall the noontime show's top landmark events and prove that "Sa Tamang Panahon" will easily top even a merger of the very best Eat Bulaga had offered:

FIRST 'LOTTONG BAHAY' GRAND DRAW

Considered one of the largest proof-of-purchase (POP) contests, Eat Bulaga's Lottong Bahay had been forced to do its first-ever grand raffle draw at the Quezon Memorial Circle, even needing a forklift to jumble the mountain of entries.

The total amount of tickets for "Sa Tamang Panahon" might not even account for even a quarter of that inconceivable pile of POPs, but still expect a massive turnout, especially with the entire 55,000-seating capacity of the world's largest indoor arena easily selling out two days after the show was announced.

If anything, we're sure the number of tweets with the record-breaking hashtag #AlDubEBforLOVE (25.6 million) easily trumps that overwhelming volume of Lottong Bahay entries.

25TH ANNIVERSARY

Held at the Clark Centennial Expo on Nov. 18, 2004, the Eat Bulaga Silver Special, which was attended by an estimated 60,000, was hailed the Best Entertainment Special at the 10th Asian Television Awards when it was shown on TV a week after.

"Sa Tamang Panahon," on the other hand, aside from its 55,000-strong audience, will be having live public screenings across the country, so if were talking about viewership, another honor like the aforementioned is not that far-fetched.

33RD ANNIVERSARY

Three years ago, Eat Bulaga celebrated its 33rd anniversary with the usual entertainment spectacle—only without commercial breaks. It also featured an SOS Sale, whose proceeds were used for the purchase of flood rescue equipment.

Fast forward to today, attendees of "Sa Tamang Panahon" will get to enjoy the revelries as early as 10 a.m.—despite the show's airing on GMA-7 starting at 11:30 a.m—ensuring a worthwhile presentation. And just like old times, it will be for a good cause, this time for the construction of AlDub Libraries.
