At the 24th National Prayer Gathering held at the Cuneta Astrodome back in April 2013, Jesus Ministries' founder Sadhu Sundar Seljvarag said a grievous disease will spread all over the world and will consume the flesh and bones of men. The plague, he said, will originate in Pangasinan.

Here's the disturbing part: Earlier this week, the ABS-CBN news program Bandila reported two cases of "a mysterious flesh-eating disease" in the towns of Villasis and Santa Barbara in Pangasinan, fueling speculations that Seljvarag's prophecy is coming true. Hours after the report was made, the hashtag #PrayforPangasinan trended on Twitter amid fears of an apocalyptic doom.

The Department of Health however has since dismissed these claims—it turns out that the patient in Villasis has a severe case of psoriasis, while the one in Santa Barbara is a leper who is suffering from an adverse reaction to a drug. The network's management has since apologized for the potential nationwide panic they have caused.

Still, we cannot help but take notice of Sadhu Sundar's other prophecies. In the same prayer gathering, he did predict a flood that would ravage Samar and Leyte, which, if you believe the supernaturalists, came in the form of Super Typhoon Yolanda. Coincidence? Uhm, we're not totally sure.

Now we wonder: Should we be worried? Below is a recap of the terrifying prophecies made by Sadhu Sundar about our country. Lord, patawad!
