With just a single tweet, Sandro Marcos found himself in for a bashing after netizens started mocking him for tweeting about his "incredible" experience after watching Rogue One: A Star Wars Story.

Here’s Sandro’s now controversial post which turned out to be a really bad idea:

Apparently, the tweet didn’t sit well for some netizens who found the remark dense at best since it came from an individual who’s part of a family that had striking similarities with the antagonists of the movie.

And also, the movie’s plot which revolved around rebels attempting to overthrow a corrupt empire rang bells in the minds of Martial law victims who were oppressed during the time of former president Ferdinand Marcos, Sandro’s grandfather.
