Despite having Da Action King Fernando Poe Jr. for a father and iconic movie actress Susan Roces for a mother, Senator Grace Poe has evoked quite a restrained personality.

While a stark contrast to Sen. Miriam Defensor Santiago in terms of character, you'd be wrong to mistake this former MTRCB chairwoman's reserved demeanor as a mirror of her merit as a public official—after all, she garnered the most votes in the 2013 senatorial elections!

That is why when Sen. Grace deviates from her usual composed disposition and expresses strong emotion, expect it to be instant social media fodder. Remember when she said that P-Noy should be responsible for the Mamasapano Massacre?

Recently, the issue of her validity to run in the upcoming 2016 polls was brought up, with her alleged failure to fulfill the residency requirement being the main argument. (Ironically, the standard-bearer of the party questioning Grace's validity, Vice President Jejomar Binay, had previously set his eyes on her to be his running mate, before being essentially turned down.)

While Grace has yet to make up her mind if she'll run for president next year—even though she's reportedly gaining up on the veep in presidentiable surveys—she did not mince her words when she addressed the issues hurled at her in front of reporters last week, June 3, at the Senate.

Below are the female senator's fit-for-an-action-movie zingers!
