We’re pretty sure that a lot of people find it hard to sleep and dread to hear clapping sounds at night after watching The Conjuring.
The movie is based on a true story (which makes it even scarier) and revolves around the Perron family and their supposed dream house. They learned the hard, scary way that their newly acquired property is haunted by its original owner, a demon-worshipping witch. Her hobby: to make the lives of the people who reside in her house a living hell. Watch:

Inoue Rie can boast about being the original Sadako of the first-ever Ringu (The Ring) movie—the movie that gave you nightmares in the early '00s. If only we knew that the pretty Inoue was the one behind all that creepy hair, we probably could've shortened our shriek every time she crawled out of a TV.
