One showbiz happening that seems to have slipped off our news feed last weekend was the cancellation of TV5's Talentadong Pinoy—one of those steady, taken-for-granted shows nobody thought would ever leave the air. The long-running talent search aired its farewell grand finals last Sunday, August 18, with Yoyo Master Spyro Marco besting six other hopefuls and having the privilege of owning the show's final Ultimate Talentado title.

We sure are bummed to see TP go off the air for good, but no one is more disappointed than the show's host, Ryan Agoncillo. "To tell you honestly, the decision of the management to cancel the show sucks," he tells PEP.ph. "But it's beyond my pay grade to decide what happens on the program. And we're really concentrating on this one because for us, this is the end of an era." We totally agree, Ryan, which is why today's story is dedicated to Talentadong Pinoy and the myriad of talents the show has produced through the years. Because who could ever forget...

...The Bee Gees Singer (real name Angelico Claridad), who seems to have inherited the vibrato of Barry Gibb. The mayor of Negros Occidental believed in the seven-year old so much that he made sure the kid got to take his talents to Manila.

...The Yoyo Master, also known as Spyro Marco, who has his way with yoyos like no one else can. Jaya calls his act "impossible to pull off," while Lani Misalucha claims she can't get enough of Marco's talent. As mentioned above, he ended up winning the show's grand finale special.

...The Sand Artist, also known as Joseph the Artist, who has the rare gift of creating masterpieces using only sand. "What a talent!" Willie Revillame tells him during a Wowowillie guesting.
