A man suspected of committing three rapes in a barangay in Tanauan City in the province of Batangas was made to do a walk of shame.

A three-minute video was posted on Tanauan City’s Facebook account which showed the suspect, identified as Basilio Riparip, walking on the streets with both hands tied behind his back.

Riparip was topless and had paper on his chest and back with the words “Ako ay rapist wag nyo ko tularan” written in bold.

The accompanying caption said the suspect was also a drug addict and was captured through citizen’s arrest. It added that the public was enraged at Riparip while he was being paraded.

In another video, the suspect is shown admitting to the crimes to Tanauan City mayor Antonio Halili.

The walk of shame video already has 175,000 views and over 3,000 shares as of this writing.
