Following the massive success of this year’s Tanduay First Five Nationwide Tour that saw rock symbols Chicosci, Sandwich, Wolfgang, Kamikazee, and Parokya ni Edgar team up in a series of concert events, Tanduay will put a finale on this year’s festival by coming out with the biggest rock concert ever.

Dubbed as Rhum Rockfest Year V, the event will take off on Friday, October 14, at the SM Mall of Asia Concert Grounds from 5:30pm going until daybreak (yay!). The event will reportedly feature 30 of the most popular local bands known to man, some of them coming straight from the U.S. – Sampaguita, Introvoys, Orient Pearl, P.O.T., Hungry Young Poets, The Youth, Tropical Depression, the Dawn, and Color it Red.

Brings you back to another era of rock, no? If that’s not enough of a nostalgia night for you, iconic 90s bands such as Siakol, Grin Department, and Razorback will also be onstage, accompanied by a new generation of rock bands in Hilera, Franco, Urbandub, Up Dharma Down, Gloc 9, Typecast, and Moonstar88.

Everything’s epic on the ears, a grand pleasure to the senses. Rhum Rockfest attendees will also witness the comeback of Ebe Dancel, as well as a surprise rock icon. And of course, the Tanduay First Five bands. We’ll give you a minute or two to take all this in.

Now we'll tell you how to snag some concert tickets. Doing so is as easy as buying 3 bottles of Tanduay 5 years and T5 Light in any combination, which entitles buyers to a VIP ticket. A single bottle of either brands meanwhile entitles you to a General Admission ticket. Buyers can exchange these bottles at the nearest participating 7-11 and Ministop outlets nationwide.

At least 80,000 concert goers are expected to see the celebration of Pinoy Rock, so get your game face on and your systems all cleared up – night will end with you screaming at the top of your lungs and witnessing a music blowout. And to quote them bands: "Rock on, Pilipinas!"
